I love wine of all types, but am especially partial to most reds vs whites.
There’s just nothing like a nice glass of it with a nice meal!
A nice lil buzz from a bit of it or perhaps more of a loss of inhibitions from 2+ glasses depending on my mood!
I’ve always been fascinated by it, I mean, think how long it’s been being made, far back into ancient times. All of the different particular brewing methods of different regions of different time periods.
And how different geographical areas will produce different tastes of the grapes depending on the type of soil that there grown in and when they are harvested etc.
Another fun thing I like to do is visit local wineries and take the tours (and enjoy the samples!) and take home a few new bottles to try out.
I find this always is a great thing to do when visiting a new place as it gets you in touch with the local culture both old and new and gives you a real feel for the location and its people.
Well, I could talk about wine for ages but that’s the general gist of where I’m comin’ from!
